Mountain Lasem

Lasem Mountain is a mountain located in the central part Rembang stretching from the mountainous North Limestone in the south to the north coast to the north. Mountain with an altitude of 806 meters above sea level is mostly located in the districts of Central Java, Rembang Lasem. And includes several sub-districts such as Sluke, Kragan, Sedan, Pamotan and Pancur.

The highest peak is the peak of the mountain Lasem Argopuro. Peak is visited by many mountain climbers from the Apex, Pati, Blora and Tuban primarily on weekends and during vacations.

To reach the top Argopuro, the usual ascent route is passed through the village Nyode, sub Pancur Rembang. From here, still can be reached by 4-wheel vehicle up to the last village. In the last village which is also the last climb heading can be reached by walking for approximately 3 hours.

It also could be from the west side climbing the mountain by post in the village or village Gowak Kajar Lasem district.

Although not very high, but from the summit of Argopuro, can freely look at the Java Sea to the north, the city Lasem, Apex, and Mount Moriah town in the west. Is on a mountain top looking south Lawu.
